What it does

  1. What Does the Weekly Brief Show?

Select the week of October 5.

  2. What Potential ROI Could This Produce?

At 60% adoption, this example releases 20 hours per month.

  3. What Needs Human Review?

The operating lead examines source completeness and the next action.

Sales, service, and invoice records hold different parts of the week. This example calculates three measures and prepares a short operating brief. The example names Priya for the next action and shows its source records.

Estimates use US labor assumptions.

What Does the Weekly Brief Show?

Select the week of October 5. Then select Prepare the weekly brief. The result shows two leads awaiting replies, two open customer requests, and $1,320 in overdue invoices.

The brief gives those measures in two short sentences. Its next action names Priya and the two companies needing replies: Cedar & Co. and Mesa Solar. The owner comes from the supplied sample record.

Open a measure’s source records. Choose sales, service, or invoices to inspect one small group at a time. The report shows nine records for the selected week. Counts and invoice totals are calculated from those rows.

Approve the weekly brief after examining the summary and totals. The local receipt keeps the week, sources, owner, and next action. No real assignment message is sent.

Choose the previous week to see different measures. Missing sources produce an incomplete result. The report cannot treat unavailable records as a complete operating view.

What Potential ROI Could This Produce?

At 60% adoption, this example releases 20 hours per month. Assisted time includes human review.

Labor proxy: business and financial operations occupations. BLS May 2025 US wages are $45.78/hour nationally.

The cost factor is 1.43, from US private-industry compensation, June 2026.

First-year cost: $6,440. ROI divides annual capacity value, less first-year cost, by first-year cost. Payback divides build cost by monthly net capacity value. Slower adoption delays payback.

Released capacity is not automatic cash savings. Workload and time reductions are illustrative, not BLS findings. Internal support is assumed; The AI Operations plan costs extra. The budget and operating allowance are illustrative, not a Ship AI Studio quote. Measure costs before deciding.

What Needs Human Review?

The operating lead examines source completeness and the next action. A real build needs agreed measure definitions, a shared reporting period, and current source connections. Record the last successful source update.

Measure preparation time, missing sources, repeated corrections, and time to action. This estimate assumes 40 reports across teams each month. A single team’s weekly report releases less capacity and needs a different investment case.

Use the workflow ROI guide to replace sample volume with your actual reporting work.
